&lt;p&gt;I have packaged Mega Mario for Ubuntu (focal+) and made it available here: &lt;a href="https://launchpad.net/~xtradeb/+archive/ubuntu/play." rel="nofollow"&gt;https://launchpad.net/~xtradeb/+archive/ubuntu/play.&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Let me know if this is of interest and/or if there are any improvements I can make.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Back in the past, I made a few contributions to GetDeb and in the meanwhile, I decided to continue packaging some its most downloaded packages. Mega Mario was one of them!&lt;/p&gt;

The game freezes after die or completing first level. Tried Windows 7, Windows 10, Wine on Linux. Same result. Game is unplayable.. Before 10 years I've had Windows XP and there is no bugs. Tried compatibility setting in Windows - same bug.
