This is rather old and does not support the latest ASCOM platform. The filter wheel has two opto sensors. The filter carrier has holes at each location, plus an extra one to mark the home position. Initially I blocked all but one of the original holes except one. This allowed me to use this as the home position reference. I think one possible issue that comes up when running reversed is that the initial homing starts at slot0 and goes to slo 0 again, but does not seem to check if running reversed, so the initial homing goes the wrong way. The same happens if you command a find index from slot 0. It then lights the LED, and does the usual home-find, continuing anti-clockwise around the rest of the carousel. Having nearly 23K steps in total for my filterwheel, this takes about two minutes to go all the way around. I rewrote the logic code for index/home, including the reboot/power-up The logic on power-up now will move the focuser towards filter 1 (assuming the last slot at power-down was slot 0), not all the way, then reverse back to find the index using the ldr.
