<div class="markdown_content"><p>Good news everyone,<br /> </p> <p>version 1.7 of our COMAST XML Schema was just released!<br /> </p> <p>Here're the changes:<br /> - Introduce DeepSkyAS element representing asterisms<br /> - Introduce DeepSkySC element representing star clouds<br /> - Introduce Lens element representing barlow or sharpley lenses<br /> - Add minFocalLength element to eyepiece element. This introduces zoom eyepieces to the schema. (Zoom eyepieces are represented like regular eyepieces, except that they contain their minimal focal length in element minFocalLength and their maximal focal length in element focalLength. The actual focal length used at an observation is implicitly given by the magnification element at each observation.<br /> - Introduce filter type solar for solar filters<br /> - Change magnification element in observation to minInculdes=1 so that naked eye observations (magnification=1) can be represented</p> <p>Happy downloading! :-)<br /> </p> <p>Doergn</p></div>
