More visible characters than 96 as is need by many
character sets.

MinGW additions and changes

A solaris open-gl function (glXGetProcAddressARB) is
missing.

rmPipeClose segfault

rmPipeClose() will seg-fault when pipe->cache is NULL.

The following patch will check to see that the cache
pointer is non-NULL before invoking
private_rmCacheDelete().
