&lt;p&gt;I have a Win2000 Server screen res.640x480 with &lt;br /&gt;
WinVNC 3.3.4 (therefore "scaling-enabled") and &lt;br /&gt;
scaling works if I try it from my PC with XP and &lt;br /&gt;
WinVNC 3.3.7, but from my Treo650 with PalmVnc 2.0.5 &lt;br /&gt;
build 214 it disconnects in the same way as already &lt;br /&gt;

I am able to get PVNC to connect to a vnc server if I&lt;br /&gt;
am on their internal network. I can connect using the&lt;br /&gt;
internal IP of the machine I am trying to control or&lt;br /&gt;
the external ip, or even a resolved name to the ip&lt;br /&gt;
(mailhost.ambico.co.uk) but as soon as I stp out of the&lt;br /&gt;
realm for the network of where the vnc server is&lt;br /&gt;
located, then PVNC will not connect, saying unable to&lt;br /&gt;
connect to...&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Same goes for home pc (chrisdhall.myvc.com) it's fine&lt;br /&gt;
when in my home, but try and connect remotley and it&lt;br /&gt;
refuses conection.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;All firewall configs have been checked and tested (we&lt;br /&gt;
run normal vnc in house at office too and that connects&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I have no issue with any other network applications at &lt;br /&gt;
this time.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;However, when running PalmVNC 2.0.5 build 214, I get &lt;br /&gt;
the following error (cut and pasted, and redacted as far &lt;br /&gt;
as addresses) -&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Opening the network...skipped&lt;br /&gt;
Connecting to xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:5900...&lt;br /&gt;
ConnectToTcpAddr: cannot connect&lt;br /&gt;
Unable to connect to "xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx":5900&lt;br /&gt;
ERROR: cannot connect to xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:5900&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It doesn't seem to be an issue with the server &lt;br /&gt;
(Win32VNC 4.0 June 15th build), as when I turned on &lt;br /&gt;
the option to manually accept connections, it never &lt;br /&gt;
seems to be registering.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The local firewall on that machine is correctly configured &lt;br /&gt;
for allowing connections from the Palm. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Rejected data 0x1508 error&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Any ideas ?&lt;/p&gt;
