My name is GrosBedo (alias GBO), the new developper for Panic Button ;-)

This release is the first of many I will produce. It fixes all the bugs users submitted, plus many others I've encountered, so now you shouldn't see any flaw in this software (I'm a pro at debunking exploits ;p). I've added many features and little details that will make this software much more useable and comfortable, like the new flashy icon yelling at you to click it !

If you are a user of an older version, please update as soon as possible as it will fix many bugs (particularly if you are a foreign user, all the language files and translation bugs have been corrected). Translators are welcome to update the translation files using poEdit or another gettext editor :-)

Please feedback and tell us the bugs you encounter or the features you want to see. They will be added after the next release, because I'm freezing the sourcecode to port the software to... Linux and MacOS ! I'm not yet very experienced in porting applications, but I guess it should go well with this one :-)

Keep in touch, this project is far from dead ;-)

Panic Button 2.5 released

Panic Button places an icon in the Windows system tray.
Changes in version 2.5 include:

* Added checkbox for SSL/TLS
* Config file is automatically encrypted (using EFS) if on NTFS partition
* Added keyboard shortcut (RFE 1521109)
* Removed French translation, as it was causing a bug (1685043)
* New icon (dialog-warning icon from the Tango Desktop Project). This is distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution Share-Alike license.
* Fixed bug in copying help file to temporary directory before opening it

A standard Windows installer is also available. This will install Panic Button and set it up to run at logon. If the installer is used, the user will be able to change the configuration or exit Panic Button simply by right-clicking on the system tray icon.
