Looking at the commit https://sourceforge.net/p/pastmon/pastmon/ci/1232041e92f1baf56e276bb038cd76c02840e66b/#diff-2 it should be a simple matter to fix - i'll look at it this weekend.

Hi, thanks for raising this. The dbi_inst was introduced recently to support libdbi >=0.9. This was tested on Ubuntu 14.04 and on Gentoo. I'll investigate if it is possible to support both 0.9 and 0.8 versions of libdbi...

Hello!

I was happy to see the announcement of PasTmon 0.15 after several years break, so I went to upgrade a bunch of boxes currently running PasTmon 0.14.0.
However, the compilation fails for me on both Red Hat (RHEL 6.6) and Ubuntu (12.04.5 LTS).

This occurs with both version 0.15.0 and 0.15.3. Version 0.15.1 and 0.15.2 fail during configure due to a missing file in a documentation folder (I guess this was the reason for the 0.15.3 release).
I also tried re-compiling version 0.14.0 on the same machines, which still works just fine.

I really don't know where to go from here. Does anyone have any ideas?

Also, a big thanks to the PasTmon author for the continued development! An OSS project going strong for ~13 years is not something you see everyday.

On Ubuntu using libdbi-dev version 0.8.4-5.1:

In case anybody stumbles upon this thread: This is caused by the PostgreSQL plugin for Perl DBI/DBD not being installed.
On Red Hat/CentOS the package is called perl-DBD-Pg, on Debian/Ubuntu it's libdbd-pg-perl.
