New version of specifications available

The version 1.4 of OE v1.0 specifications are now available on this site. They can be also downloaded in .zip format from http://oedoc.free.fr/ . Older versions are archiived there and can be downloaded as well.

Finally! We have a release.

Ok, it's not really a meaningful release ... but at least we have the code
ready. And it is almost up and running.

I'll release version 0.0.0 as soon as I got a version which actually loads up
and runs.

New Management coming

Derek Parnell has stepped down as leader after a long period of no development.
(This was related to the official dropping of PEU.) Who will manage this
site is still not clear, but this site will be updated with the latest in OE,
including the official OE specification and Zoec, an OE-to-C++ translator.

More news to come soon, so stay tuned.

The Long March Has Started

The first steps have been taken on this long march. We will be developing the Project Vision and Project Charter documents over the next few weeks. The first draft versions will be appearing here very shortly and we invite people to improve the documents.

Once we have defined our vision and set our course, we can then start the more "interesting" tasks - architecture, validation, design, and of course coding.
