Problems with the menu of different versions

The menu of both PhpMyLibrary-2.2.1-3 and PhpMyLibrary-2.2.1-2 can not be accessed. Although the menu of PhpMyLibrary-2.1.1-1 can be accessed, but there are no programs to handle it. Is this a bug or just a unfinished feature?

Upon logging in as admin, a message appeared at the footer of the page.

Fatal error: Call to a member function Execute() on a non-object in /usr/local/apache2/htdocs/phpmylibrary/polerio/lib/Session2.php on line 378

I think this concerns this line:

$pmldbconn->Execute($query);

My installation environment:

Fedora Core 5
Apache 2.2.4 (httpd-2.2.4)
MySQL 5.0.37 (mysql-5.0.37-linux-i686-glibc23)
PHP 5.2.1 (php-5.2.1)
PhpMyLibrary 2.2.1-3

MySQL error "Specified key was too long" upon installation

phpMyLibrary 2.2.1-3

Upon installation step 2, MySQL reported an error:
Specified key was too long; max key length is 1000 bytes
when creating the pml_patron table.

I did a little bit for web search, and it turned out that the problem is that my MySQL's default encoding is set to utf8. MySQL somehow hardcoded the vchar-to-byte conversion ratio to 3 for utf8. This essentially "blows" most of the keys on pml_* tables to a very big size.

Since our library contains books that are not in western languages, we do need the utf8 support. Is there any way to work around this problem?

2. No output of Book data in the form of Email/Zip/Data
formats

These features were available in older versions. I dont
know why this is done new release means new
advancements rather the declination.

lost PostNuke / PHP-Nuke module ability

Some of the documentation and past posts refer to the
ability of PhpMyLibrary to function as a module in
PHP-Nuke and PostNuke. There is little/no documentation
on how to install it, but from piecing the information
together, I got the module installed as well as is
possible. After trying for many hours to get the module
working, I started reading the source code and server
errors the module is causing. Just about every URL
PhpMyLibrary refers to when functioning as a module is
wrong. Maybe this problem was introduced with the
directory restructuring?

Specifically, index.php always refers to
installation/install.php because PostNuke can't find
the polerio directory. header.php refers to files that
should be in PostNuke's themes directory (?) but aren't
because the themes or theme names are all different.
content.php should point to phpmylibrary's themes
folder, but doesn't. The URI and URL functions in the
Polerio class seem broken. The themes included seem to
have the same problem as content.php. Searching with
the webopac box takes you to index.php?(query) instead
of modules.php?(query) ... That's about where I gave
up. These problems exist under both PostNuke 0.762 and
PHP-Nuke 7.9

Polerio, I suggest you try a fresh module installation
under PostNuke to see what I'm talking about.
