"read message" shortcut for tabbed conversations

Hi,

I've recently started using tabs in pidgin. I am a big user of the "read message" shortcut.

I was expecting it to work on tabs where I had an alert (jabber conf where my name has been mentioned - appears in blue instead of red for normal talk).

It would be ultra useful to the "read message" shortcut to get the focus on the window with the tabs and switch to the "alerted" tab.

Hotkey for toggling Conversation Window visible

Currently there is no multiprotocol messenger, which provides this functionality. I have tried many messengers and looked for this little hotkey.

Support for latest Pidgin builds (currently 2.6.4)

Pidgin-Hotkeys does currently load corrrectly in Pidgin 2.6.4, but none of the hotkeys appear to work. Setting a hotkey to toggle the buddy list causes the window to lose its minimise and maximise buttons and always-on-top status, and that is it. This is in Windows XP SP3. I'm just using plain function keys, e.g. F8 to show/hide the buddy list.

Would love to have this working! Same as F11 is mapped to hide and show my Winamp window.

Hotkeys available from all virtual desktops

I run the compiz window manager which allows me to have several virtual desktops. The "global" hotkeys plugin only works if I am working on the same desktop as pidgin. It would be a great enhancement, if the plugin would be able to work on all the desktops.

For some laptops (and keyboards) there are extra keys which can be set to do various things. They are represented in Ubuntu as hex codes such as 0x9f. Hotkeys does not recognized them being pressed, therefore cannot be used.

Hotkey for Show offline buddies toggle

It would be great to have the possibility to configure a hotkey for toggling the "Show offline buddies" option. That's the only thing I'm missing right now :-)

Allow the Esc key for closing windows

Hey,

with pidgin the Esc key doesnt close a tab anymore. Which is a shame. I propose a hot key for this which can be configured.

hotkeys for opening chat windows for specific user

I'd very much like to press a hotkey and open the chat window to the specific user. Choosing the user from a drop-down list would be great.

Do you have any plans to update the plugin for gaim
2.0.0? The plugin rocks, and I'd consider not upgrading
gaim if you're not going to upgrade the plugin.
