Render aborts with Error Message

Using PovClipse 1.0.1, Eclipse Indigo 3.7.2, OS Win8.1 64bit, Java 7

When I try to render the Projects scene, Povray starts and ends with error:
Failed to start render: Failed to write output INI File.

I do not see any error within eclipse, and the output window of povray does not explain more. I don't have any idea what File it tries to write where... and it does not say why the INI file cannot be written.

The Configuration is checked many times and seems to be ok.

I've got the same error tryinig to install the Plugin within Juno (3.8)
This does not seems to be a compatibility problem but more a general Problem.

Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found.
Software currently installed: PovrayDocs 3.6 Feature 1.0.1 (com.wm.povclipse.povray.docs_3_6.Feature.feature.group 1.0.1)

PovClipse does not install on Eclipse 4.2.1

When following the instructions on this site to install the PovClipse plugin, I get the following error:

Error marks don't disappear after configuring paths

I've been following the tutorial and after adding the correct paths in Eclipse, the include files and the pink_granite map were still marked as errors, even if the cursor hover operation gave the expected display...

autocomplete feature blocks eclipse for minutes

Sometimes when I create a new box or other object, typing
box

causes the autocomplete feature to produce a list of all possible completions, which is of course very big. It always looks like this:
__Gradient_Fn_accuracy_

A_GoldA
A_GoldB
.
.
.
Creating this list can take several minutes on my quite recent laptop and I can't use eclipse during that time. It almost seems to hang.

Could you just provide an option to disable this feature completely until the bug is properly fixed?

I use povclipse 1.0.1 with eclipse 3.3 on ubuntu 8.04.

I'd like to attach a logfile but there is no .plugins directory in [workspace]/.metadata/

Scene not found in project when selecting path with softlink

When POV file to render is selected with softlink in the path, an error saying that file does not belong to any project is displayed. All is OK when physical path without links is used.

Problem with large files

I often have very large files (tens of MB) in my POV project (meshes exported from some other application). PovClipse is very slouw then, when I try to open any file (even the small ones) from the project, whole Eclipse stucks for a long period of time. I also got out of memory error (on machine with 2GB RAM). When I remove all large files from project dir, it works good.

A minor point...

The following is VALID Povray syntax (WITHOUT PREVIOUSLY DEFINING FOut, UndeclaredVar1 or UndeclaredVar2):

//(See Povray help 3.2.2.3 File I/O directives)

#declare String = "Hello,There";
#declare Filename = "XYZ.txt";

#fopen FOut Filename write
#write(FOut, String)
#fclose FOut

#fopen FOut Filename read
#read(FOut, UndeclaredVar1, UndeclaredVar2)
#fclose FOut

Currently, each file I/O line highlights an error with "FOut is neither a keyword, nor a declared object or macro". The fifth statement also gives errors for UndeclaredVar1 & UndeclaredVar2.

Povray is a bit quirky on its File I/O statements, breaking its own rules (sort of) regarding prior variable definitions...

Declare statement containing embedded semi-colon

A string #declare statement containing a semi-colon cause all #declare statements below that line to have errors in the GUI.

E.g.
#declare X = ";";
or
#declare Y = "Some text; that will work too";
or
#declare Z = concat ("Text", "with semi-colon;");

#declare A = 1; //This will have the neither a keyword or declared object or marco error
#declare B = "P"; //This will have the neither a keyword or declared object or marco error etc

GUI seems to lose count of semi-colons and make incorrect foldings...
