Use of vocabulary

Hello again cm630

I'm using your application and I'm very satisfied, as it does what I need in a practical way.

Now I'd like to learn how to use the vocabularies, but I don't quite understand how it works.
Through the "Vocabulary Manager" I've created a vocabulary using translations I already have and I get a "vcb" file.

But I don't know how to use it.

What I've tried so far: I open a main file, create an empty file for the translation, load the vocabulary, and then click the autotranslate option.

I don't see any results.

Could you help me make the most of this tool?

Hi,
There was some duplicated character in the language specific chars for Català, I have removed it, I hope I did not make sth. wrong?
The latest version is uploded, there is only a minor bug fixed, I think there shall be no new strings to translate.

Hi,
I have made some changes in the LNG files, so I have updated your latest version of the translation, too.
Please use the files from the latest relese (https://sourceforge.net/projects/prevnarin/files/PrevNarin%20win32%20no%20installer%202022.03.24.7z/download or the ones from SVN (https://sourceforge.net/p/prevnarin/code/HEAD/tree/trunk/lng/) if you prefer.
In the latest release "Language specific buttons" are added, so besides the custom buttons, there are some language specific (can be enabled/disabled from the settings).
They are stored in key ezSpecialChars of the language file, you can use them, if you want to.

I have not checked ezTabIsNotSupportedInSpecialCharacters, I will do it next time.

I have already translated all the new strings (gosh, how many unicode pages!)
I attach the translation files.

I have noticed the strings in the special character window are not translated, nor do the hints work, specifically:

Hi Albert,
I think that the issues that you have reported are fixed in the latest release.
There are some new strings in the language files, mostly related with the fix of
https://sourceforge.net/p/prevnarin/bugtracker/27/ (I am not sure if all the pages of UNICODE are worth, translated, anyway).
I hope there will be a new release next week, completing the special chars toobar, which shall include some more strings.

Hi and Happy New Year.
I have just uploaded a new release, with issue https://sourceforge.net/p/prevnarin/bugtracker/13/ resolved.
Maybe some other issues are resolved too, but I will check.
Since the list of the features to be added is short, but possibly time consuming, probably there won't be any additions to the GUI, so maybe now it is a proper time to update the Catalan and Spanish translations?

Thanks for the updates of the translations!
Items a) and b) are added in the bugtracker.
I cannot reproduce item c), though there is something odd with it - some code changes left unimplemented for removing the buttons. Hopefully finishing this will resolve the issue.

Happy New Year too!

The possibility of adding special characters using user-defined buttons is very interesting.

After using these buttons a bit I have these things to comment:
a) The window for inserting the special character is not yet translated. ;)
b) The Character Map window, always starts the "Unicode" tab with the "Interval" "Basic Latin" and the "ANSI" tab with the "Code page" "cp1250".
It would be nice if once the "Interval" and the "Code page" have been selected the first time, the successive times this window opens, it remembers these codes.

c) Error: If you delete a special character button, the index is not updated and when you select a button after the deleted one, select another one and if you select the last one it generates the error: "List index (5) out of bounds"

With the keyboard with Spanish layout, we have available practically all the characters for both Catalan and Spanish, except precisely the typographic quotation marks that are the following:
Opening: « “ ‘
Closing: » ” ’

Also attach the files of the updated Catalan and Spanish translations.
