It seems your last version is also crashing the same way. Last time, I ran your last putty-nd.exe from your last message (size 11,901,440 bytes, quite large) for 2–3 weeks, and today it also stopped responding to all toolbar buttons.

I’ve attached a new video showing the issue, which is similar to the previous one.
There is no new crash report from today, but I found PuTTY-nd-vv8.4p3.crashreport from 15 July. Perhaps it could be useful if you decide to investigate this issue again.

#57 mouse disappears over application after some time

thank you! I will check it and get back with feedback)

#57 mouse disappears over application after some time

Hi there, I just fixed a crash when the Windows system is about to closed and then be canceled. Putty-nd's resource then enter a releasing state and can't be run forward. The new fixed binary is as the attachment. But I am not sure if it is the same issue.

If the crash happens, there should be a file like PuTTY-nd-vv8.4p3.crashreport under the same directory with the putty-nd.exe. It is the plain text callstack of the crash. It can help to identify the crash issue.

#57 mouse disappears over application after some time

this is how it crashes - after 1-2 weeks of opened 2-3 putty_nd windows with ssh sessions (I dont turn off my laptop)
and one time it just stops to react to any buttons on toolbar - I cant open new ssh session via "+" button near tabs (doesnt show this on video) neither restart session by toolbar button.
this is your last binary file from this thread.
it fixed mouse pointer issue but appears this new issue (

#57 mouse disappears over application after some time

Hi! Usually I open 5-6 windows of putty_nd and each has from 1-2-3 to about 10 tabs.. a lot, yes )
and after some time it stops to open modal config window with all my saved sessions. and after this - it crashes.. I will record small video next time.

#57 mouse disappears over application after some time

Hi there, I left the app open for the weekend, but the no response "+" button does not happen yet.
I want to ask how often does it happen?

#57 mouse disappears over application after some time

hello!
seems the issue with mouse pointer doesnt appear so far with your last version of app.
but I noticed that after some days running of app I can not open new ssh session - I press "+" button on the tab bar to open configurationg window - and nothing opens. also - any buttons on menu bar doesnt work.

#57 mouse disappears over application after some time

thank you!

I'm starting to check putty-nd.exe.bak

#57 mouse disappears over application after some time

Hi there, thanks for the logs.
The logs shows that it doesn't hide the cursor itself at all during the test.
It could be the system's behavior, which I can't identify.
And I make another build to show the cursor explicitly for each session when it starts.
And hope this workaround would help.

#57 mouse disappears over application after some time

another debug - there are at least 3-4 issue
