This seems to be a duplicate of another bug Report -- should be fixed in pyARS 1.8.2.

I've not used Anacondy nor xypython. But something seems strange, because the reported error occurs in file pyars.test.py which should not be called by default.

Could you please copy and paste the complete screen output from starting python, showing the startup message, what you have entered and what you get as a result?

Hi,
When I try
from pyars import erars, cars

I get the below error. I'm new to python and pyars, need your help.
