When I attempted to push a new branch [Python3.3] back to the SourceForge, this error message appeared:

Pushing to ssh://jmhrvy@git.code.sf.net/p/pycam/code
fatal: Unable to create temporary file: Permission denied
error: unpack failed: index-pack abnormal exit
To ssh://jmhrvy@git.code.sf.net/p/pycam/code
! [remote rejected] Python3.3 -> Python3.3 (n/a (unpacker error))
error: failed to push some refs to 'ssh://jmhrvy@git.code.sf.net/p/pycam/code'

Having never done this before, I'm hoping the error is due to my user Id not being part of the group who can "push" to this repository. If it's more complicated than that, let me know; Otherwise, I'd like to request that my Id be added to the group

Tnx Jim

Hole-y fail.

Hello,

I'm expecting to carve a hole in a block, but I don't want to mill the entire surface of the block for this. I would want to select "the faces of interest"

So I used Blender and with a boolean operation, made a hole in a cube, then removed the faces I don't want pycam take care.

Here, I don't know if pycam is able to compute path "out of nowhere", with a non-plain solid.

But when I try to open the generated STL (joined, a six-sided-hole), pycam give me a waring : "Skipping invalid triangle:[...] (maybe the resolution of the model is to high)", with 25 similar messages, and my model is not displayed.

I tried to move the model in space, to scale it, I always get the same message.

At least, is there a way to now why a triangle is not a valid triangle ?

PEBCAK or Bug ?

write access to wiki

I'd like to update https://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/pycam/index.php?title=Installation_MacOS with info for MacOS 10.8 and 10.9

I already had to apply this patch:

Other than this patch, I'm running stock 0.5.1 on Fedora 18.

Unexpected Exception Occurred

Was asked to submit the following:
