I've managed to alter the code so that the nag screen and time limit don't appear, and the programme is working by logging the text and taking screenshots, but I cannot open the menu to set a password or make changes. Anytime I press L-control R-control and F12 nothing happens. Does anyone else have this problem? Is there a way to change the key combination for the menu in the code (I couldn't see it and not necessarily asking for someone to point it out (unless you're feeling generous) but a 'yes' or 'no' would be helpful!). Thanks.

I was having the same problem but it was because I didn't install all of the elements I needed listed on https://sourceforge.net/p/pykeylogger/wiki/Installation_Instructions/ under 'running from source'. I uninstalled everything I had and then downloaded and installed all of this. Hey presto, it works! Well, sort of. I'm about to post something else...

I'm going step-by-step using the instructions here even using all the same older library versions. On step #4 I unzip the ConfigObj files as instructed open, a prompt in the same DIR and run "python setup.py install". However I get this error:

Hi,
For running the program, you don't need to modify the source, just use the control panel to change the settings.
That said, if you are curious, the email timer code now lives in 'timerthreads.py' file.

Hi,
Sorry for delayed reply, been traveling.
I did some googling, it seems the issue may be caused by your antivirus, which flags the attempt of py2exe to modify the program icon as 'suspicious activity' and prevents it. Try turning off your antivirus temporarily, or otherwise whitelist py2exe.
