SGI documentation. Under Linux the value seems to be&lt;br /&gt;
undefinded.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The assignment in _fam_next_event results in random&lt;br /&gt;
coredumps,&lt;br /&gt;
it should just be deleted.
