#82 Allow optimization stop / display best values / cost function
This is is a request with a few facets, related to the optimizer. It is only "cosmetic/GUI", nothing to do with the hard processing.
1) For me, the optimizer does not show a very intelligible output, at most you can see the cost-variance go down. It would be interesting to evaluate the values of the actual goals, or at least allow this possibility. Similarly, it would be interesting to see the values of the actual parameters, instead of the best[0]=... , which is difficult to interpret.
2) It would be interesting to be able to interrupt the optimizer and get the "best" result instead of getting nothing.
3) ideally, all of this would be visualised, e.g. in the display screen. Like in a parameter sweep, see the progress of the curves, if only from time to time, like when the optimizer result box is updated. At the moment it is a mystery what the optimizer is doing, except when it is completely done.
