backup sets (2) user configurable.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;A new config option "retention" (defaults to 2) has&lt;br /&gt;
been added to settings.conf to define the number of&lt;br /&gt;
full backup cycles to retain.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This way someone can have eg. weekly full backups&lt;br /&gt;
(backupdays=7) and still keep the old backups for a&lt;br /&gt;

That is, &lt;br /&gt;
when you try to backup the root directory, it ignores &lt;br /&gt;
the &amp;amp;quot;Skip:&amp;amp;quot; definitions.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Richard griswold contributed the fix.  The patch is &lt;br /&gt;
