Recent changes to feature-requests

I have some feature requests for its WiiMote plugin

1. It should automatically connect the WiiMote if its not already connected.
2. It should display the remaining battery life in its Configuration.
3. It should warn the user when the battery is almost empty via a tray balloon.

The Linux Infrared Remote Control system has been around for a long time, and as of recently, there is a windows port! however, I've found that WinLIRC clients can connect over a network to an actual LIRC server just fine.
Basically, I have a remote control that I use with LIRC, and it would be nice to use it to control RMX without needing a dedicated plugin specifically for my remote, especially as I can't get the remote and it's usb dongle to work in windows...
http://winlirc.sourceforge.net/ has the a plug-in to control Winamp in c++ with source along with WinLIRC itself...

Ok, well i don't know if you already have the ability to do this or not with scripting, but what i want to do is to be able to push a button on my remote and then have it scroll through my playlist (as there doesn't seem to be an option for this already).

Now one way that i can do that with my keyboard is by pressing either page up or down. So i was thinking maybe if say i push the up or down arrow on my remote, it then assigns a key feature like page up or down and lets me scroll through my play list.

If this is already possible... How would i go about setting that up or creating a script for it?? thanks.

i have the stand alone version starting when windows starts, and its a bit annoying that there is no option for it to go straight to the tray when starting rather then showing the window first and have me close it manually.

Power on using remote

It would be nice if there were a way to launch Winamp using the power button on the remote. I don't know if it is possible to do this without having RMX already open, but it would be nice to be able to just turn it on and off at will this way (just like one could create a keyboard shortcut for the program).

It would be nice to see a way of using IntelliRemote to activate keyboard shortcuts; such being able to program a button on the remote to execute an "ALT+TAB" switch, or being able to browse the playlist using a remote.
