It is still in state "beta".

I would be greatly honoured if you could give me some feedback about your experiences with this new release.

New functionalities
-------------------
This release contains the following functionalities, which make the tool more useful (at least in my opinion).

* Display special characters (e.g. german umlauts) correctly
* Show progress bar when setting the differences to the lists (better usability on big differences)
* show and update copy size if synchronization would be executed in brand new status bar

Bugfixes
--------
The following bugs have been fixed in this release.

* Folders which existed on both synchronization folders lead sometimes to program hangups
* Remove files did not synchronize
* The application broke down when loading a synchronization file and then clicking on the root node
* The application broke down when changing the view to the list view and then loading a synchronization file
* When refreshing differences the list and hierarchy views are cleared at start, because otherwise some old data could stay there and lead to problems
* Removed console error message, because it lead to break downs on the windows executable created with --rubyscript2exe-rubyw parameter

Known issues
------------
After synchronizing differences the progress bar stays. 'Til now I was not able to find out why this happens. This error should be fixed in the next release

TODOs
-----
So what is missing for future versions?

* Allow the permanent ignorance of files and folder for a synchronization profile
* An icon for the application (Yes... still nobody wanted to help me... -> Help wanted!!!)
* Internationalization support (might be that I have to wait until the Fox toolkit allows it)
* Create a client/server application
* Create a user documentation... Yes... That's always the last thing to do in a project ;-) It would be nice, if somebody could volunteer.

I hope to receive some feedback from you! Tell me what you like and what you dislike. Tell me about your ideas!

Your sincerely,
The synchronization functionalities of version 0.6.2 were unchanged, so that you will find here a better user interface and some smaller improvements.

I would be greatly honoured if you could give me some feedback about your experiences with this new release.

New functionalities
-------------------
This release contains the following functionalities, which make the tool more useful (at least in my opinion).

* added a tree visualization (which is the standard view, but the flat list is still available) of the found changes
* show and update copy size if synchronization would be executed in brand new status bar
* added a colour (blue) which shows that synchronizing the difference overwites an existing file
* recursively change behaviour, when changing the behaviour on a folder difference
* show remaining time in progress bar (still not perfect, but better than nothing)
* message if files could not be read when calculating differences

TODOs
-----
So what is missing for future versions?

* Added colours to indicate the synchonization actions for each difference

Implemented functionalities
---------------------------
This version includes the main functionalities I expect from this tool, namely:

* fast and easy to use graphical user interface
* storing and loading of profiles, including the storage of file hashes for next time comparisson
* hash or file existence comparisons of two directories
* visualisation and manual correction of the synchronization behaviour (central table in the main window)

TODOs
-----
So what is missing for future versions?

* Coloured presentation of delete and create events in the central table
* An icon for the application (I am really bad in arts... -> Help wanted!!!)
* Complete code documentation in RDoc format

I need your help
----------------
Last but not least I am very much interested in your experiences using this tool. I depend on your feedback at least to change the development status to stable.

So please leave me at least a short note about your impressions and ideas!

I hope to hear from you soon!
