If I could make one suggestion, it'd be this:
Currently, you disable the shell items by selecting their checkboxes. It would probably be more intuitive (as well as conform to standard coding practice) if all items were selected by default; then you could disable some by _clearing_ their checkboxes.

Would it be possible to add an option to add custom templates? With TweakUI, you could specify a file that would act as a template for new file type in the the New context menu list.

The main thing about removing all the New items in my context menu is simply that i never ever need any item except the New Textfile. i rename the txt extension to what ever i need, and viola, i have a empty new file type of…

Sorry for late answer, but last months i'm in a heavy project that needs my complete energy (looks like family and dog are gone…)
