In my case I would like to use SHOP2 as a planner which interfaces with an external database that stores all existing knowledge of the planning problem - and hence I would like ALL precondition checks to be passed off to my external handler without having to specify :external for every precondition declaration. Is this possible without major modifications to SHOP2?
