Hello.
This request to synce-connector.
Many linux distributives use dhcpcd as dhcp client
Please, port to dhcpcd use.

I am using synce-0.14 on gentoo from the ebuilds in portage. Everithing is working fine. But I need to bi able to define an IP addresses which get assigned to my laptop and PDA device when pppd starts.

Would it be possible to be able to define local_ip and remote_ip IP addresses in synce-hal.conf insted of network parameter for default network?

Hello!

What do you think about adding option for synce-trayicon to call scripts\programs on post-connect and disconnect? It's very usefull with FUR (http://www.infis.univ.ts.it/~riccardo/FUR.html) for example.

In raki, context menu (obtained by right-clicking) the tray
icon

Start DCCM option should be greyed out (disabled) if
DCCM/VDCCM is already running.

Small, but confusing defect.

Documentation that shows up in KDE Help is terrible. It
doesnt even mention WHAT Desktop app it's syncing
with.
Putting the HOWTOs and little tidbits of info from Synce-
KDE webpages/forums into one central location would
be a first big step.

Synce should add a device icon

This isn't really a bug, it's a feature request: I'd
like SynCE to add a PDA icon to the computer:// module
in Nautilus when a device is connected, which will
allow the user to browse the synce:// module when clicked.
