Wii Remote shuts off and screen goes black and remains until i shut down the console

when i try to boot any type of game off of my 32 gb flash drive my screen goes black and my wii remote shuts off. i have to hold the power button on the console to shut it down so i can get out of it and when i turn it back on it loads into bootmii. i tried reinstalling my d2x cIOS by referring how i had originally installed it using the video i used; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s1NekiCNrzk (at 8:22)
and saw no change. i would like to note that before, when i tried running wii sports off of my sd card, it worked fine. Could anyone please help me out? thanks!

Unfortunately I suffer from the same problem and haven't managed to solve it.

I can run the loader, I can browse the images but there is no way to start any of them. WiiFlow USB-Loader works fine, but I I get to use GX on my WII, now I switch to Wii U and I cannot get it working. Priiloder is instaleled and reinstalled, forwarder for GX and priiloder are aslo installed and both work fine.

Any idea how to solve it?

When selecting a game in USB Loader GX, I've noticed that I lack the start and settings button. Other views are also askew and lack details. I've tried different versions of the app and all seems to be affected by the issue.

Hello team.. One thing I would like to see would be an option to boot straight into SD card mode instead of having to press the A button every time it loads up or switch games. I know it's called USB loader and every thing works faster off a HDD but the current set up is perfect for my situation.
only just modded my Wii few days ago so still very green and apologies if this is already a thing but I have just missed it.
and I thank you for this program, it's the best thing to come out on the Wii so far. looks great and easy to set up and navigate 😃

Crash no matter what I do

No matter what I do the program crashes. Upload a game, crash. Go to wii home, crash. Go to homebrew menu, crash. Please help

Thanks, @skibidi boppity! I thought that NTFS volumes weren't recognized by USBLoaderGX for some reason … but will give it a shot again, with that new volume format.

I had this problem as well with RSTE64, Star Wars: Force Unleashed. It turns out that Windows rounded down when calculating the file size, and it was actually larger than the FAT32 4gb limit.

I just formatted the drive to NTFS. You can do that in windows by going to "this pc" and right-clicking the drive, then selecting format, and format it to .ntfs. Just make sure you move all your files out before you do that because formatting will erase all the data on the drive.

As for the file directory, one game should go something like this:
This PC > (USB drive) > wbfs > Star Wars - The Force Unleashed [RSTE64] > (file) RSTE64
The .wbfs file must be named the wii game ID, and the folder containing it also must be named "Title [Wii ID]" as you said. Of course substituting the title for the title and the wii id for the wii id.
