python module loading errors at startup

Sorry - I accidentally entered this as a bug already.
If whoever reads this has the privilege, you can delete
that one (number 1503629).

Anyway -
When I start ViewMol 2.4.1 a window with the following
messages from Python pops up:

Error loading module demo
Error loading module setAtomColors
Error loading module uff

I get the same thing whether I use the binary
distribution or compile my own.

Platform is RedHat Enterprise Linux 4 WS x86_64 on Opteron.

Any suggestions what else to try?

from my g03 output. What Iop should be used?
