We're happy to announce a new release of Miss Parker Manager.

For those who don't own a Miss Parker, I'd like to remind you that the Miss Parker Manager can deal with any other device by means of dynamic libraries. For the the moment, only the Alesis development board is supported on top of Miss Parker but other device could be added pretty simply.

In order to get full features of this new release, the Miss Parker should be upgraded with firmware v1.5

Concerning the changes, they are as follows:
Major improvements:
1) Addition of some more parameters in the theme structure.
Font characteristics and text colors have been added.
2) The input and output volumes are now given in dB rather than between 0 and 100.
3) The preset used for the AL3201 is now stored in the eeprom.
When using firmware v1.5, Miss Parker will use this preset at boot time.
4) wxWidgets v2.6.3 has been used from this release onwards.
Note that v2.4.2 is normally still supported which will not be the case in v1.5!

Minor improvements:
1) Text is now centered below the potentiometer rather than left aligned.
2) Changed main window caption to Miss Parker Manager
3) check for msvcrt.dll orr msvcrtd.dll name to avoid warning
when looking for communication libraries
4) undefined the MAKESPLASH because the non-existant bitmap was used

Minor bug solved:
1) Quite major bug was discovered in the project loading.
Linear table parameters were taken as if they were linear automatic parameters.
This was causing failure on the phaser for example.
2) Volume was modified when Miss Parker was shut down and restarted again.
This was due to the approximation between the 0 to 100 range and the DAC range.
This one was logged as ID-1201881 in SourceForge Bug tracker.
3) Some error logging has been added to the project load.
This will help isolate problems in project files much better.

No need to say that it's definitely a good time to upgrade your firmware and your Miss Parker Manager if you haven't done it yet.

Miss Parker Firmware v1.5

This is a new release of the Miss Parker firmware.

The preset used for the AL3201 is now stored and reloaded at boot time.

This only applies to Miss Parker Plus, not to Miss Parker.

Please upgrade to coming Miss Parker Manager v1.4 when it will arrive to actually benefit from this feature.

Miss Parker Firmware v1.4

This is a new release of the Miss Parker firmware.

It solves a problem in stand-alone usage of Miss Parker Plus; the AL32101 lines were not initialized correctly resulting in wrongly loaded projet files at boot time.

This only applies to Miss Parker Plus, not to Miss Parker.

The Miss Parker Plus should now be fully functional in stand-alone mode.

We're happy to announce a new release of Miss Parker Manager.

Please note if you have not done it yet that you should upgrade your Miss Parker firmware to the version 1.2 in order to have the correct behaviour. Indeed, version 1.1 of the firmware is not fully compatible with Miss Parker Manager 1.2 release and above.

Concerning the changes, they are as follows:
Major improvements:
1) In the slider view, boxes have been added to visualize parameters belonging to the same group.
2) The code is compiling with wxWidget 2.6.2. It can still be compiled with the former wxWidgets 2.4.2.

Minor improvements:
1) Slider value on the screen are now updated when assigned to the switch.

Minor bugs solved:
1) Wrong size was used for the slider when the parameter was using a table.
2) Some potential file leaks have been removed.
3) Replaced some delete by ->Destroy() as adviced for wxWindows based-class.

No need to say that it's definitely a good time to upgrade your firmware and your Miss Parker Manager if you haven't done it yet.

Miss Parker Firmware 1.3

This is a new release of the Miss Parker firmware.

It solves a problem in stand-alone usage of Miss Parker; the data memory was incorrectly initialized from eeproms leading to not working effects at boot time.

The Miss Parker should now be fully functional in stand-alone mode.

Miss Parker Manager v1.2

We're happy to announce a new release of both Miss Parker Manager and Miss Parker firmware.

This firmware is not compliant with the older Miss Parker Manager (works ok with Miss Parker Manager 1.2) due to some missing messages.
As a consequence, please make sure you're using at least version 1.2 of the Miss Parker Manager with this firmware.

Concerning the improvements and there are quite some:
* Some bugs in storing projects in Miss Parker have been solved.
* Crash when exiting program has been solved.
* Checks are now done to verify that Miss Parker manager is recent enough to handle correclty the firmware and to verify that the firmware is not too recent for Miss Manager.
* The upgrade firmware function now also checks that the firmware has been correctly written.
* Even more progress bar have been added.
* Finally, the Manager now includes Miss Parker supports under linux.

No need to say that it's definitely a good time to upgrade your firmware and your Miss Parker Manager. Start with the Miss Parker manager first as the firmware upgrade procedure has been improved...

We're happy to announce a new release of both Miss Parker Manager and Miss Parker firmware.

Concerning the improvements and there are quite some:
* Removed the StorePotentiometer message, the Miss Parker manager now stores directly the values in the eeproms. This quick&dirty workaround has last for definitely way too long.
* Improved even further the "non smooth" potentiometer move issue under Windows XP. The polling interval is now made bigger as the HID report queue is made smaller on Windows platforms.
* Added a Packet counter byte when sending data to the PC so that the PC can make sure that the report it gets is indeed the one it asks for.

No need to say that it's definitely a good time to upgrade your firmware and your Miss Parker Manager. Start with the Miss Parker manager first as the firmware upgrade procedure has been improved...

New effects release

This package is released separately from VirtuAL3101 because the next release of VirtuAL3101 may still take some weeks to come while this new effect package brings very interesting features:
- Parameters of the assembly modules have been given human names
- There's a comment for each parameter explaining their meaning
- These comments are displayed as tooltip when modifying the parameters in AgALag
- Some bugs have been solved here and there
- Version number and dates are now automatically updated by CVS

VirtuAL3101 v1.4

A new release of VirtuAL3101 is available.

It contains some new features like handling of feedback loops in AgALag.

It also corrects some problems with long file names in ALksim, simulation function in AgALag, ...

Finally some small mistakes have been corrected here an there...

Miss Parker Firmware v1.1

This new firmware solves an issue making potentiometer moves in an non smooth way under Windows XP. First basic support for the Miss Parker Plus extension has been added and last but not least code size has been optimized here and there...

Some other upgrades will follow with more enhanced support of the Miss Parker Plus extension board...
