Dear,

I have some user who's using POP email, so they don't have access to her "spam" folder (except via usermin).

If they want to change them self (via Usermin), to deliver the spam to the standard Inbox folder they can't.
First, because in Usermin/Mail/"Filter and Forward Mail" standard rules are not editable (why ?)
And if we add a rules via Mail/SpamAssassin Mail Filter, go to Procmail Spam Delivery, and change to Deliver normaly, this don't work as espected !

Because, the rule come after the default "Email is spam : Save in folder spam" so they don't be taked in account at all (of course as the rules "Save in folder spam is before...and as not "movable" in priority order...)
Why a new rule come after and not before ?

This is annoying for some POP email users.
Here in attachement a exemple.

Best regards,

That is expected in Virtualmin, as spam delivery is handled by a global procmail rule that is executed before user-level rules. This can only be edited by the domain owner or root.

    Hi,
Thanks for your reply, but I agree only partialy...
Because: users (in a POP account configuration) as no possibility to decide himself to received spam "ex. classified by mistake". (except contact the admin to change this rules via virtualmin/server configuration/spam and virus delivery)

Also... Why have the ability in Usermin/Mail/SpamAssassin Mail Filter to change Procmail spam delivery if this option is useless ??? That's make confusion.

Finally, in general, every webmail give the ability to a user to manage his spam or virus delivery. Usermin not give this ability, this is a unfortunate missing feature (I think) :-/
    Best regards,

You can switch to allowing users to confiure their own spam delivery on a per-domain basis in Virtualmin.

I have searched but not find where to change this ?
Is it in "system settings/account plans and in the plan, allowed capapilities : can configure spam and virus deliveries ? (I have tried this but not find any change in usermin).

    Thanks,

It's at Server Configuration -> Spam and Virus Delivery.

    :-/
This is for one domain... and this specify "IN HARD" where spam goes (default spam folder or inbox) for a specifiq domain only.
also, USERS CAN'T change by himself.
ADMIN as to change customer by customer (or for the whole server) where goes spam .....

Please, review my second reply....specially :
... in general, every webmail give the ability to a USER to MANAGE HIS SPAM or virus DELIVERY.
    Usermin NOT give this ability
    ...

    Thanks,

Are you just looking for a way to make this same change across all the domains on your system?

What I'm looking for, is the ability for all users (so, all domain) to change by themselves the SPAM (and eventually virus) delivery folder (via Usermin, as all users as access too).
    Thanks.

You can do this by SSHing in as root and running the API command virtualmin modify-spam --spam-deliver --all-domains .

However, this will require users who want spam to be sent to the spam filter to add their own rule. There isn't a way to do exactly what you want, sorry..

Thanks, but if I do this (as it's a production server) I will change the rules for all domains (and reset spam delivery by default for all probably ?), also the default rules will be to deliver spam to inbox for new domains / users, that's not what I want at all, of course (the default must stay : spam delivery in spam folder, and only who want to change (ex.: for POP/SMTP) as the ability to do this in Usermin...
I think, It will be a great update to do there, for a futur version of virtualmin/Usermin.
    ;-)
    Thanks for your help.

Yeah, I guess the best behavior (in your case) would be for a rule to be created for each user that delivers to the spam folder, but for users to be able to edit this. Unfortunately this would require some changes to Virtualmin ... but I will put this on our TODO list for the next release.
