Please add Windows 8 in the supported list of this amazing plugin.

Wicked shell does not support overwriting existing output.

Some programs will have a spinner that goes like this: |/-\|, and so on, except the characters print to the same place (try to imagine them overlapping). However, with wicked shell, the end up exactly as displayed above, they don't overwrite the previous character.

Support for CTRL-C

It would be nice if the shell would support passing control-C to the running process in the shell, otherwise there's no way to abort things like ant or java programs once they are running. If it's not possible to do this because eclipse eats the signal coming from the keyboard, maybe a button that sends this command to the process would suffice?

Windows 7 currently not supported

As though reported as 'fixed', Wicked Shell doesn't work for me on Windows 7. Having installed 2.0.5 and launching the view, it reports:

Exception occured: java.lang.RuntimeException --- Operating System <Windows 7> currently not supported.
Please refer to error log for further details. The setup of Wicked Shell failed.

When adding a static completion the comment and the completion are messed up: The comment is stored as completion and the completion is stored as comment!

Pressing ESC in the shell closes detached view

Hello,

I'm using Wicked Shell as an detached view on a second monitor. I have the console and sometimes other views in the same detached window. When I press ESC in the wicked shell the whole detached window gets closed. With all other views inside. That should't be the case. When I press ESC in a XP COM Shell the input line gets cleared. I would expect something similar in the wicked shell - or at least a 'bing' telling me I can't do that here. But closing the detached view is a bad thing.

Entered commands are stored in an xml file. If a command contains a character which not supported by XML, Wicked Shell fails on startup when the XML is to be loaded. The following exception occurs:
