we have problems to install the win32 package
wswin390-3.zip which we tried on different Windows XP
systems (so it is not a problem of a particular
computer).

After having extracted all files from wswin390-3.zip
(using path names) and starting setup.exe we
consistently received the error message

Error. Cannot find ws/bin/version.

This occurred immediately after the progress window
had opened (after setting the install directory, the
locations of browser and editor, as well as the
languages to install and after accepting the two license
agreements). I have no idea what might be wrong, in
particular since there are neither directories named "ws"
or "bin" nor a file "version" in the package. (The only
directories that are created are "wsinst" with
subdirectory "data".)

I would greatly appreciate some help. Thanks in
advance.
