Here is a patch that allows wput-0.6.1 to be built on Haiku:

wput 0.6.1 or older version are limited to files with size less than 2GB.

Patch to Compile/Run on MS's Services for Unix (SFU)

This patch will fix wput 0.6.1 so it will compile and run on Microsoft's Services for Unix (SFU).

Patch with patch -p1 sfu.pat

Run autoconf, then ./configure & make.
