No refresh of image, even if it's changed

I'm sending every couple of seconds a new image to my
xbox. This image always has the same name, so it
overwrites. When I use the slideshow option on this
folder, with only this 'frequently' update image in it it,
XBMC shows this image, but doesn't refresh when a
new image is loaded.
Intresting enough: When I keep my 'right' button on the
remote controll pressed, during the presentation of the
picture, the image on screen is updated once it's
changed by an external update.

Is it possible to use XBMC as a picture viewer of an
everchanging jpg? This could be on a local XBOX folder
or even a webpage/webcam.

USB Touch Screen Support?

Hi,

I'm interested in hooking up XBMC to an lcd screen, and
am wanting to use a touch screen to navigate.

I understand touch screens emulate mouse functions, but
require drivers for windows/linux/mac whatever in order
to work.

I'm wondering is it possible to add support for USB
touchscreen input devices, or is each touchscreen
interface different and proprietary?

Tivo / PVR functionality w/PC counterpart

(I apologize if this has been proposed. I looked but
didn't find anything like it)

I propose the creation of a program to work with XBMC
in the same way that Windows Media Center Edition works
with the new Windows Media Center Extension for XBOX.
Since the Xbox has no simple way of inputing video, how
about creating a PC program to use with XBMC that would
allow for XBMC to function as a TIVO/PVR. Essentially,
it would be done in the same way that I understand the
Media Extension does, by simply telling the PC program
what to do.

I understand that there are ways to do this with
MythTV, but after looking into them, it was a lot more
complicated than than the average user could handle.
Especially for anyone not familiar with Linux. I think
creating an easy to use program that would allow XBMC
to finally have the Tivo/PVR functionality would be
priceless. At the moment, the lack of that function is
the ONLY thing that keeps XBMC from being the supreme
center of all media in people's living rooms. With an
easy to use set of programs, there would cease to be
any competition, not to mention that it would be free.

This would be a much appriated feature when using the
xbox in an application such as in car entertainment. As
the car is constantly being switched on and off, it would
be nice to start the car and have xbmc auto start
where it left off. I'm really only fussed with audio - load
the same playlist and start where it left off.

since most mp3s and sound files are in stereo, it would
be nice if you can incorporate a Digital Sound Processor
(DSP) into XBMP to make a 5.1 simulation for people with
5.1 home theater systems.

Can you implement a way for XBMP to decode a PLII file
into 6 wavs and then output it back into AC3 for the
reciever to decode (like how you guys decode the AC3
and then reencode the AC3 for the reciever when
passthru is not enabled)?

XBMP to send wake-on-lan packet to server

It would be neat to be able to hit a button from within
XBMP/C and be able to remotely turn on the file server
which may reside in another room.

Using the WakeOnLan system it should be possible to
send a magic packet to the preconfigured MAC address
and wake up the server.

I'm not sure if I can add to this request at a later stage
but I will try and find some code to do this and post a
link. If anyone out there has some code then please let
me know.
