The problem is that the program is trying to wrongly parse number cells as strings. It displays the error message, "Cannot get a STRING value from a NUMERIC cell." I tried go around the error message by format all columns to TEXT data type in my .xls file. And it displays with the same error messages in "Console" tab window.
