I'm brand new to Zenoss and just starting to work through some online training and YouTube videos etc.
I have multiple sites Zenoss is used for monitoring. How can I make it only show one Critical Event for the gateway router (say in the event of a power outage) and supress all other events for downstream/connected nodes?
Thanks

Does Zenoss is agent based monitoring Tool ?

Hi,
Am planning to monitor my infrastructure which predomonantely has windows and different Linux flavours. Curious to know if Zenoss can help me here ? How does Zenoss monitor? Does Zenoss has any agent that needs to be installed on Linux and Windows ?

Thanks,
I just want to understand how ZenOSS id setting trap severity upon receiving any enterprise snmp traps.
I am sending traps to ZenOSS and it considering default severity as warning that why its not getting cleared upon receiving cleared traps for the same event.
I want to set the seveiry as CRITICAL for the raised alarms and set the severity as CLEAR for cleared alarms, i am sending trap severity as part of variable binding but ZenOSS did not recognizing it.

Thanks for the help
