Open Source XSL (XSLT/XPath/XSL-FO) Linguistics Software

This used to be the experimentation and production space for the Special Interest Group (SIG) of the Text Encoding Initiative (TEI) called "TEI for Linguists", LingSIG for short. Currently, this is a storage place for documents produced by the SIG. Use https://github.com/LingSIG to access the current production space.

"XML-Print" is a joint project of the FH Worms (Prof. Marc W. Küster) and the University of Trier (Prof. Claudine Moulin) with support from TU Darmstadt (Prof. Andrea Rapp). Its goal is the creation of a XML formatter designated especially for the needs of the “Digital Humanties”. The project is funded by the DFG. HermeneutiX is a tool for diagramming syntactic and semantic structures of complex (not necessarily foreign-language) texts (e.g. bible or other historical excerpts). HermeneutiX is now part of SciToS (the scientific tool set). Starting with version 2.0.0, HermeneutiX can be found on GitHub. Editor for formal grammars. Attempts to be universal – customizable for any grammatical formalism and any syntax. Provides features such as syntax checking and highlighting, transformations (refactoring) and advanced rule editor.

leXkit: a client-server dictionary edition environment, that makes editing easier for the lexicographer, who hasn’t to be aware of technical issues. Entry meta-information is used to provide advanced functionality, such as context-dependent tasks.
