LeopardAssist assists in the process of install OS X Leopard on machines that did not meet the minimum system requirement of an 867MHz or faster processor. It achieves this by temporarily writing a script into the NVRAM of your G4-based Mac. Executed at startup, this script will temporarily force the system to report that a faster processor is installed, allowing the Leopard installer to successfully complete its minimum system requirements check. This allows Leopard to be installed from unmodified installation media or another bootable device. LeopardAssist handles the interaction with Open Firmware, specifying the target processor speed, the number of physical processors in the system, the desired boot device and any additional startup flags to simplify the installation and configuration process. -

DACPEI is a WYSIWUG Software for Conceptual design of Light Fixed Wing aircraft. It is specifically designed to be intuitive and easy to use by engineering students (not necessary aerospace/aeronautics). DACPEI is divided in 9 modules, for analyzing mission profile, Aircraft performance, propulsion and layout design, as well as sketch component for developing aircraft drawings. DACPEI enable users to export their design to the FlightGear flight simulator software, enabling the designer to "test-drive" their designs while they are on the drawing board. Designers will get an immediate feel for the performance and handling qualities of their designs in less than 7 minutes. -

Cross-platform Gnutella file-sharing servent in Xojo with Java backend
Cabos is a simple, elegant Gnutella file-sharing servent (server-client) compatible with Windows and Mac. It is written based on LimeWire code in Java, with a customised front-end in Xojo. Cabos emphasises simplicity and elegance: its user interface and preferences dialogue are sleek and polished. It includes Mojito DHT support. Cabos is the continuation of a project also called Cabos and run by a Japanese developer nicknamed heavy_baby; he has since ceased development on it and redirected his attentions to Acqlite, another Gnutella client. However, Cabos should not fall into desuetude simply because the lead has other projects on his mind; this project is a resurrection and a homage. Like the original Cabos, this continuation is licenced under the GNU General Public Licence. Note: Cabos 0.8.2 and earlier for MacOS is 32-bit only. Cabos is free as in speech and free as in beer. We have a Mercurial repository, so you can work on the source any time! Happy sharing -

Well used (on Mac, have just resurrected Windows variant) X-platform web development tool that permits site sharing via exports/import zip files of pretty much any web site you care to develop. It can be easily exported between platforms, even look/feel styles (css) can be exchanged in the same manner. If you hit problems, please let me know and I can then try to fix them. I have had a stroke and am operating with a greatly reduced mental stamina, and I can't think clearly for very long as a result, rather like having a low battery!. Basically this is a language independent multilingual English (US & UK), Welsh and any others that can be thought of (help still needed on the translation process) tool. Just 1 button and the whole interface changes language! Free but we are hopeful of gaining enough supporters to make the whole project viable via donations. Try it, you'll like it! It has taken many years of work on my own to get it to this stage, I look forward to seeing it grow. -

CloisterWalk can test your favorite number or will let you choose a number from a list. Many provided numbers are known irrationals, others are still uncertain. Enter the number of steps you would like to walk and click the Go button to produce a graph. If a number does not seem interesting, try switching between the square and hexagonal grids.
