I'm trying to use custom-cd to make a Devil Linux 1.6.3 boot CD with my new configuration on it. Running custom-cd under Slackware 13 gave me trouble, so I booted the Devil CD on my new gateway/firewall machine with an old 4G harddrive installed. I set up mount points in /shm. I copied custom-cd to /dev/hda1 and edited it. I solved an initial problem by reformatting the harddrive from vfat to ext3. (cfdisk wouldn't cooperate, the drive kept reverting to vfat, so I booted a Linux Rescue CD and used GParted.) Now the script looks good until it says mkzftree not found ...A few other errors that probably are due to NEW/boot and NEW/dir directories being wanted. I just have NEW/config. Then... Bad Option '-L' (error -1 BADFLAG). Usage: mkisofs [options][-find] file... [find expression] mkisofs -version responds 2.01.01a79 c1993-1997 I haven't been able to find mkzftree on the CD, and it looks like a different version of mkisofs might be needed. I hope you can help me easily. My current Devil linux gateway/firewall has been very satisfactory, but is due for retirement so we can upgrade the network from 10 speed to 100 speed. I just re-subscribed to the Devil-linux-discuss mailings and can presumably receive an answer through the group by that route. Thanks, KGHN |
