Indeed fprobe-ulog appears to be in decline.

Last update by Fedora in December 2014 to add NFLOG support.

Compiles and works, requires  libnetfilter-log and
libnetfilter-log-libipulog.  It eats CPU.

Host-sflow hsflowd compiles clean on the base LFS and has NFLOG and
PCAP targets. Appears to be doing the job with NFLOG module, have
yet to try PCAP.  Adjustments in sampling rate are available for
various throughputs.
