Details:

Headline: need indent-current-line
Description: it should be possible with a bit of tweaking, to make the current indent-engine able to indent an existing line, in addition to being able to indent new lines.  The only enhancement that it should need is to be able to decrease indent level for lines with a close-brace, etc.  (But maybe it would be worth looking to emacs/xemacs to see the full list of rules that it uses.)
