[Squirrel-sql-develop] Error: Io exception: not in streaming mode

Hi,
A new error that stops me from using Squirrel, pretty much (no changes 
in Squirrel install nor driver/Java env.).  When I log in, find a table 
in the object tree, select and request to see its columns, this error 
message shows up.  It's not on all Servers but all servers used to work 
w/o any problems.  It's Oracle server 8.1.7.4 with Oracle thin JDBC 
driver 8.1.6.  I'm running Squirrel on Win2K under jdk1.4.1.

Anyone has seen this error before with Squirrel SQL?
