I was reading through plugins.html and noticed the following:
"To reserve an internal name just email a request to the SQuirreL
developers mailing list
specifying the internal name that you'd like and a quick description of
your plugin."
If that is still the case, I'd like to reserve the internal name of
"dbcopy". My plugin
development is well under way and can be located at the following URL:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/dbcopyplugin
Description: DB Copy Plugin is a plugin for the SQuirreL SQL Client (2.0
RC1+) that allows
copying database objects (schema def and data) from one session window
to another. The
sessions can be disparate database vendors (Oracle -> MySQL, for instance).
Currently (as of the trunk) this plugin provides:
- Copy and Paste tables from one session to another (Can be different
database
types (MySQL -> Oracle, SyBase->MySQL, etc...)
- Includes Primary Key and Foreign Key constraints for tables copied.
- Uses Hibernate 3.0 internally to perform database object type mappings.
The "Copy Table" and "Paste Table" functions are accessible through
the context-sensitive (right-click) menu of the Object Tree.
That's all for now,
