The log looks like there was a problem with your SQuirreL user 
directory. You could try a new SQuirreL installation into an empty 
directory. If that doesn't help you may try to rename your existing 
SQuirreL user directory and let SQuirreL create a new one from scratch.

The just released snapshot "snapshot-20210111_2140" would  probably give 
better log messages in your scenario. You may give that a try, too.
