Keith Mashinter posted a link to opendbcopy which according to the
description
seems to solve the problem I've described in my previous email.

I'll take a look at it and see how suitable it is for my use. If it's
generic enough and a
suitable framework, I'll see if I can't wrap it in a plugin for
inclusion in Squirrel. Thanks
