Yes, the Ubuntu package python-visual.  The package reports to be version
5.12-1.   Is there someway to tell programatically?   visual.__version__
returns 1.3.0

If it its 5.12, do you have some idea of what's been added since then?

Just in time, by the way.  This morning our campus network was down so I had
to bring my laptop to class.  This wouldn't have been possible yesterday
morning.
