Debut (Double Entry Bookkeeping Utility) is a cloud-based accounting package, that enables businesses to keep track of their sales, purchases, receipts & payments. The accounting information is stored centrally on a server, and accessed by multiple users using a browser interface. It features strong encryption and an intuitive multi-window interface There is a full range of reports and extensive search options. It’s possible to import and export transactions, contacts and chart of accounts from/to other accounting packages. Complete sets of accounts can be archived and then restored. Documents can be attached to transactions, either from file or directly from a TWAIN scanner. Transactions can be flagged for action by other users.
Debut is implemented in PHP and Typescript (compiled to JavaScript), and uses MySQL to store accounting data.
