  • Since this is a Java application, wouldn't it be better to distribute as a .jar file? That way it would port to MAC and Linux machines without Wine interface.

I hadn't touched this app in 15 years but finally got the bug to move it to the web instead of a JAR. I dont think I've even logged in here in 10 years so funny to see a recent comment so many years into the project. The web version is https://www.euchre-tourney.com/ - I'd love any feedback or feature requests!
  • I use Euchre Tournament every month for Fundraising Euchre nights. We have 64 players attend each night, and to manage the movement around the room better, I create 4 "mini" tournaments of 16 players each. We don't get through 15 rounds of euchre, but usually 9 or so for the night, and this software's ability to schedule the players makes the night run smoothly. Players who have been to other tournaments always comments on how organized we are when they get handed their player schedule. They also come back again and again, and bring friends to experience our tournaments. Euchre Tournament is a great piece of software, I highly recommend.

Just in case you're still running tournaments and this comment finds you, I ported this to the web at https://www.euchre-tourney.com/. I could easily make it support 64 players if that's still a thing. Cheers!
