Use la api, pero la documentacion esta muy pobre y el ejemplo de la pagina no me funciono.
Para hacerlo funcionar tuve que integrarlo a mi app con el sgte constructor:
javax.mail.Transport transport = new net.sf.hajavamail.TransportProxy(session, session.getTransport().getURLName());
Ahi me bajaron los tiempos de envio mas del 100% de 20 segundos a 8 segundos.

When I download the zip source, I cannot build it since the build xml file contains "config.dir" which is pointing to "{basedir}/conf" that does not exist on the zip file.
