    Pros: 1. Conversion is excellent. The output quality, especially formatting retention in Word/Excel, is consistently very good.
    2. The OCR engine is robust, particularly for clean scans and images, and it supports a wide range of languages.
    3. It is very easy to pick up and use.

    Cons: This is purely a converter and OCR tool. I can't make edits to the source PDF.

    Overall: Cisdem PDF Converter OCR excels at its core features: converting PDFs to editable formats accurately and performing solid offline OCR, especially on batches of documents. Its simplicity and batch power are major strengths. If your primary needs are high-quality conversion and reliable OCR on reasonably clean documents, it's a very competent tool. However, lacking PDF editing capabilities is a significant drawback. You'll need supplementary software for any PDF manipulation beyond PDF conversion and creation.
