Kudoboard

Pros: This platform is very easy to use and is atheistically pleasing. The photos, GIFs and emojis you can use are fun and the way the notes are broken up make the cards easy to read.

Cons: The cost of each card for a virtual card is pretty high. Would love for cost per card for basic usage and less than 20 people signing could go down, and/or there were more package options for less $$$$.

Overall: Great platform for sending group cards. I use this for birthday cards for all my co-workers and it is a great way to get the full team to contribute with well-wishes whenever they have a chance with an automatic/timed send.

Pros: The process for celebrating someone is convenient and easy. There are different ways to personalize based on who you are celebrating and what you are celebrating.

Cons: It would be nice the lite version had short video capability.

Overall: Overall, Kudoboard has made it easy to find a meaningful way to recognize those around us for any occasion.

Pros: I like that you can add pictures and gifs and always have it. I also like that you accept donations.

Cons: When setting it up, people have stated that they did not realize it accepted donations though I set up the option.

Overall: It was good overall. Easy to set up and easy to copy link and send to people so they can also contribute.

Pros: Easy to setup and archive the boards when using or after i had completed, liked the ability to drag posts around

Cons: i don't love the interface it feels very "cartoonish" or "cliparty" and I would love to see a more modernized design.

Overall: i love being able to use Kudoboard as an accessible way to celebrate and share wins with a global workforce. I think there's an opportunity to venture into the video collection versions of these too, maybe an integration or collaboration with Canva to be able to differently edit, etc.

Pros: Fun GIF options, extremely easy website and platform to navigate, & several options to fit the right occasion.

Cons: We have a workaround for this now but our company firewall blocks the email if we send it directly from Kudoboard.

Overall: Kudoboard is a fun and easy way to recognize and acknowledge our coworkers life events. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a simple platform to send e-cards from a group.

Pros: Easy to access and personalize. Dashboard is good to see past Kudoboards. Good to see when it was opened/received.

Cons: "resetting" the send in order to view recipient email address.

Overall: great way to show appreciation to members of the team. excellent and easy format to edit and add posts as well as media.

Pros: We use Kudoboard for all our office colleague birthdays, and it's fantastic. Everyone contributes and I love being able to schedule-send it.
It's also great for sympathy cards - it allows everyone to share their condolences without the recipient being bombarded with in-person well-wishes.

Cons: The backgrounds could be a little more varied, but perhaps that comes with the more expensive version? It might be nice to choose your own background, if possible. It also used to be a smidge cheaper, if I'm not mistaken.

Overall: I find Kudobards to be a great addition to how our Department collectively shares sentiments, especially with our remote workers. I am grateful for it!

Pros: Easy to get all coworkers to sign since it is digital so even those not in this office can sign. Makes it simple.

Cons: Cost - my company won't pay so it is out of pocket.

Overall: Easy to use, get experience! I like the gifs and that it is signed so people can know who wished them well.

Pros: I love how user-friendly it is - it's a great tool to connect remote employees. It can be challenging to feel connected and engaged - Kudoboard makes it possible!

Cons: All is good - no complaints! I only wish we had started using it sooner :)

Overall: We use it a lot for recognition - service anniversaries, birthdays, even company contests - such as Halloween costumes or Ugly sweater!

Pros: Everything about Kudoboard is easy - setup, sharing, adding gifts (money), reviewing/modifying and sending. I like how you can customize the layout on the fly by grabbing and moving content around. It's also fun to be able to upload your own images/gifs. You can set the background and choose different animations, such as hearts falling down the screen. You can share through the application, or copy/paste the link and send to others. There are different pricing plans, depending on the number of signees you're expecting. You can always upgrade if you need more people to sign.

Cons: The only thing I could say is the lack of backgrounds/animations. I chose a board for saying Farewell. The one option provided falling hearts. That wasn't appropriate for a coworker leaving. I didn't find anything else suitable, so I just removed it altogether.

Overall: I come back to Kudoboard for everything work-related: a retirement, a layoff, a coworker's birthday, etc. It's the first place I go to when my virtual team is saying goodbye, congratulations, etc. to others in the workplace.

Pros: Easy to get everyone together to celebrate and share love with someone. There are fun personalize the board and the message being left. Also, its logistically easy, allowing for schedule sends and sharing. Its also great that you can attach a gift through Kudoboard, making it a one stop shop.

Cons: No true cons because it super easy to use. I do wish AI was included to help create a message.

Overall: Would definitely recommend! We used to buy cards for every occasion, but this is has made celebrating so much easier!

Pros: This site is so easy to navigate. Whatever celebrations your looking for, Kudoboards has it. Highly recommend to any one, If you want to share praise or celebrate wins.

Cons: Have not had a bad experience at all so far. Been using the site for over a year, and easy every time!

Overall: I have been using Kudoboards to send farewells to colleagues. They deserve to know the impact they have made on the organization. I look forward to using all ways to celebrate my fellow employees. It's been a wonderful experience that my colleagues have enjoyed.

Pros: I love working on Kudos boards for my teams events, birthdays, and anything positive. My team enjoys getting them as well. There are so many options out there that its so enjoyable.

Cons: It can be a little confusing to get people sign in.

Overall: It's so much fun, it provides a lot of opportunities and can help boost people moods. I love creating things with it.

Pros: Kudoboards are WONDERFUL. I've worked in tiny offices and large organizations, they're good for both. You get more messages that are more heartfelt in a kudoboard than passing around a dusty card. You're also not giving someone something they have to throw away. I love the gifs, I think they're so much fun!

Cons: There isn't anything I actually dislike about this product. It already gives me a reminder a week before someone's birthday.

Overall: Kudoboards make my job and life easier on multiple levels. From a professional standpoint, they're perfect.

Pros: For us, Kudoboard became an extremely important platform for recognizing the achievements of each of our employees. The features that I liked most about this platform were:

1- This platform offers us a monitoring system for each of the recognitions that we send to each of the employees, in this way we can keep complete control of the recognitions that we provide to employees in the different areas of the company. The platform allows us to have a complete record and a database of the recognitions given at any time, we can consult the recognitions provided last year or this year, this is relatively important for us, having this database helps us understand which employee has had the most recognitions over the course of the company.

2- I love the way in which this platform allows me to send monetary recognitions to my employees, I can send these recognitions by email. Thanks to this platform, it provides me with a system for creating gift cards, either to send to an employee when they have achieved something in the company or when it is a birthday, this function is very important for us, since we can send gifts at any time to keep our employees happy.

3- I love the automated function in which the platform automatically provides me with a ranking of the most outstanding employees in my company or the employees who have received the most recognition from this platform. This function is one of the most important, since I can quickly see which is the most outstanding employee or which is the employee who has received the most achievements in my company

4- The application for mobile devices also works wonderfully, and these provide complete accessibility to my control panel. Within this platform, I can send all kinds of recognitions just by using my mobile device.

Cons: There are very few negative things that I have noticed about this platform, these negative things were:

1- This platform did not provide me with a wide variety of templates designed for each of the recognitions that I gave to my employees, in this way, I had the need to import new templates of my own in order to provide a much more complete design to my recognitions. I consider that this platform should offer much more attractive designs to add to the labels or recognitions that you give to your employees, this would be great since you could vary the design that you use for your recognitions.

2- Another thing that I did not like is that the free version of this platform is quite limited, we currently use a paid version in our company, however, we lasted approximately a week, using the free version to be able to test it properly, and I must admit that this free version is too limited, it limits the number of designs that you can use in your recognitions, it limits the number of recognitions that you can create for your employees, as well as it limits the number of recognitions that you can send to your employees, it is a completely limited version.

Overall: Kudoboard has been a great software for my company, I must admit that thanks to this platform, I have been able to keep our employees happy, this platform has allowed us to send recognitions and achievements to employees located in the development, marketing, sales, human resources and many more sectors, our company is currently quite complete, and our employees perform well in their jobs, so this platform has been really useful to be able to recognize each of the tasks they perform in their offices. In general, I consider that the usefulness that this platform has had has been completely beneficial for my company and has allowed our employees to be happy and strive even more to belong to the ranking of employees with the most achievements and recognitions. I will continue to use this platform in the long term, I consider that it has had a positive impact on my company, and I want this positive impact to last much longer.

Pros: I've used Kudoboard a handful of times now to get birthday greetings out to executives I support. I love how it brings all the greetings & love from fellow colleagues into one surprise virtual greeting card. I love the choices of GIF's, the themes to choose from, all of the things. I've found the site to be very user-friendly. All in all, loving it.

Cons: I liked it better when I was able to send them for free, or at least less than the $7 or whatever the charge is now. Lol.

Overall: Kudoboard is a great site & offers great features. I've found it to be very user-friendly. All in all, love it!

Pros: This server is the perfect way to keep people connected while working from home. It is fun and easy to use. People are able to celebrate one another and easily feel acknowledged on special occasions.

Cons: No cons so far. There really isn't anything I dislike of this service at all

Overall: Love it! Highly recommend companies to use this to help improve and connect teams spirits. It would be awesome if companies had an account set up so individuals don't have to buy it themselves.

Pros: Kudos are great to receiving and fun to sit and read. I also find the app very easy to use.

Pros: Kudoboard is easy to use, offers many different and decorative options for backgrounds, fonts, and effects. Love that you can use gifs as part of your special message, and the range of reasons for celebrating is great, covers all of the occasions!!

Cons: Haven't found any yet! I have used Kudoboard for about a month now, and only see pros!

Overall: When I was put in charge of celebrations at my work place, I was so excited when I found Kudoboard. It's a wonderful platform to celebrate birthdays and work anniversaries. Everyone gets a chance to show appreciation for their workmates in their own unique way. It's a digital version of 'passing a card around to sign', but more fun!
