"File sharing and editing in real time." Posted 2022-02-26
Pros: OneDrive is one of our most important cloud storage services, due to its great synchronization and integration with other Office 365 services that we currently use in our company. One of the things that I liked the most about OneDrive are the following:
- OneDrive allows editing documents simultaneously with other people. It works as a real-time service so that the people who are modifying the document can see the changes made by the other person in real time, without any type of delay. Also, it's great to see how we can edit documents together as this helps make group work more streamlined.
- To upload files to OneDrive it is not necessary to open its web version, it is only enough to have OneDrive installed on the computer, and the platform will create a folder on the desktop, all the files that are moved to that folder can immediately be viewed on OneDrive cloud, there is no need to upload files individually or open the web version to upload those files, just move them to the folder.
- The OneDrive application is perfect for viewing files in the cloud from your phone. All the files that are stored can be viewed from the phone without having to wait for additional time.
- It has excellent synchronization with Office 365 services. We are integrating it with the Yammer service and the results have been excellent.Cons: The negative characteristics that I have noticed in OneDrive are the following:
- OneDrive free trial is quite limited. It only offers 15GB of free storage and no integration with other Office 365 services is allowed. When we first started using OneDrive, we found the free features to be quite limited which forced us to go for a paid business plan to get a good deal out of it. advantage. I think the free trial should offer more storage space and access to more features.
- Cannot move files to the folder if there is no internet connection. When trying to move a file and there is no internet, it will not be allowed to move there, this is a problem. I would like to be able to leave the files in that folder and upload them when there is an internet connection since sometimes I have to leave my office and it would be excellent to be able to leave files uploading to the cloud and when the internet arrives, they are ready.Overall: Despite the negative features of OneDrive that are really quite minimal and do not directly affect our experience, we consider that we had a fairly good experience, very complete and that allowed us to get the most out of it thanks to the integration system with Office 365. Our files they can be shared over the Office 365 network and sent to any of the Office services. We are very happy to have this great cloud storage platform, we have been able to access our files from any device and without any limits. OneDrive has also allowed us to streamline working together, we have edited documents with the help of colleagues and we have been able to finish editing them faster.

"Super useful for College and Work" Posted 2022-01-27
Pros: Microsoft OneDrive is a great tool. I used this in college to collab on projects and now at work to share documents and collab on needed agenda items. Sharing is easy and getting everyone on the same "page" is so great.
Cons: Not a lot of cons as long as you are able to organize correctly.
Overall: Absolutely love being able to use this for work now that I got used to it in school. It was confusing and I refused to use it right at first in college but I will never go back to unshareable and non-collab programs again.

"OneDrive Review" Posted 2022-01-12
Pros: This is a great product to have as a company, because this allows everything to be loaded to the cloud so everyone can access it any time and anywhere that has an internet connection.
Cons: We have found a few glitches while using the product but have found ways to work around it and made it work for us. Like any cloud base systems it does go down once in while.
Overall: Overall a great product for our company and makes everything more centralized and cloud base so very easy access to everything you need anywhere and anytime.

"Microsoft one drive a fastest way to collaborate with data" Posted 2021-10-02
Pros: The most supportive component to me is the manner by which effectively I can impart envelopes and archives to others outside my association, without them requiring a record to see and download documents. I additionally like how effectively it adjusts every one of my gadgets. Both my work and home pc, and telephone all sync rapidly.
Cons: There isn't anything on the cons side, on the off chance that I need to list I would say to make do on the route and the UI part. Other than that everything is cool.
Overall: I would prescribe utilizing OneDrive to any individual who utilizes the Microsoft suite for their everyday work. The speed at which work should be possible utilizing this is extremely high. It is an exceptionally compelling instrument to store every one of the significant reports regardless of the size of the document and I can get to them rapidly from any gadget.

"OneDrive is the perfect document backup for MS 365 Users" Posted 2021-08-20
Pros: OneDrive is easy to setup on a Windows PC and works perfectly. I like that it auto backs up all my documents on my hard drive in case my laptop has problems...which it has multiple times. But each time after my fixed laptop is returned I can easily restore all my documents from OneDrive into my newly fixed machine. Without it, there is always a concern about losing documents. Additionally, with the OneDrive app, I can access my documents from either of my mobile phones (iOS and Android) or my Chromebook or another family members Windows PC.
Cons: This is a tough one. OneDrive is great because it works seamlessly and I really don't have to think about it. The only thing I can possibly think of is that when compared to DropBox which we also use, OneDrive seems to have a few less user friendly collaboration features and the support isn't as good. Dropbox is more hyper-focused on document backup and needs to drive collaboration from their solution since they don't have an equivalent solution like MS SharePoint to compete with.
Overall: OneDrive is a no-brainer for MS 365 users. If you have an MS 365 subscription then I can't think of a reason not to turn it on and use for your PC back up. If you need a company, division, or department level document repository/library (that isn't used for active collaboration) then it works really well. I find I use OneDrive less for project specific team collaboration as Teams and therefore, SharePoint seems to work better.

"Useful, but dropped in the rankings" Posted 2021-08-15
Pros: Reliable and secure online storage. Integrated with office 365 and other MS apps like office, outlook, so on. Business friendly.
Cons: Not long ago the storage space for free accounts was pared back significantly from 15gb to 5gb, which was quite a drop.
Overall: A good and trusty online storage solution, with good MS integration, held back by the push for premium.

"Reliable file synchronization" Posted 2021-05-31
Pros: -Runs silently in the background
-Small install, does not use much memory
-Ensures that one has their files available online and locally
-Integrated throughout the Office 365/Sharepoint environmentCons: -Only available for Windows platform
-Synchronization problems are not always easy to resolve (recreate document)Overall: Onedrive is good. One installs it and forgets about it. It just runs quietly and (mostly) reliably in the background. On rare occasion, if a synchronization problem occurs, they are resolved quickly. Then there are some that just don't resolve and one may need to recreate the document. Yet, it is very, very rare.

"World-renowned and with an impeccable reputation" Posted 2021-04-23
Pros: I like many things about this program; mainly, I appreciate the confidence to store any information. The capacity is practically infinite when storing large files. I have saved from long videos with high quality and complete projects from different departments or different clients.
Cons: Microsoft OneDrive is a bit expensive. If you want to use a tool only to host selective information, I would recommend other options.
Overall: This program is made for organizations like ours that is always in constant receipt of important information; we use it because we have placed the trust to create a direct link between the company and the users, this way, we save time and the activities in the organization is effective, fluid and simple.

"OneDrive fulfils all our storage needs" Posted 2021-04-02
Pros: Saving our data in the cloud is easy if we use Microsoft OneDrive as an implementation tool. The platform allows us to adapt different formats, so that we can create as many backups as possible not only in a certain format, but in several. This is because it is more useful in case we need to export information to some software.
Cons: OneDrive cannot be adapted to the services that we usually use for streaming, which makes it difficult to make backup copies of our presentations in the cloud in case we want to save them for future visualisations. OneDrive is also not a good service for handling large files.
Overall: OneDrive has many advantages that can be used even from its free paid version, and having 50GB for as little as 4 dollars per month makes it one of the cheapest cloud management and file sharing software available today. It is also a viable option if you are going to work with mobile phones.

Pros: Microsoft Onedrive has been critical for our staff team. It allows us to keep files in the cloud, share them with team members, edit them at the same time, etc. Very useful!
Cons: I would like the option to store files that have been shared with me and organize them into their own folders. Currently, the files all have to stay in a "shared folder."
Overall: Microsoft Onedrive has been really helpful for our organization. We use it daily and keep all of our files there.

"Lower price and higher storage capacity offered by OneDrive" Posted 2021-03-29
Pros: It is quite useful for a company or a private individual to use OneDrive to store information in the cloud. It has a storage capacity of 7GB in its free version compared to others. Similarly, files can be synchronized on any device that has this application to facilitate data sharing.
Cons: One of the most notable limitations is the continuous use of the Internet to access these files or synchronized information. In addition, it does not have a tool for restoring items deleted by platform errors or accidentally, which puts its customers at risk of losing all their information.
Overall: It is one of the most outstanding cloud data storage applications on the market, for its security against any intruder and its storage limit capacity that exceeds many of its competitors. But it is notable that its customers are at risk of data loss and subjected to having an Internet connection to use OneDrive for a prolonged period of time.

"OneDrive provides secure cloud storage for your documents" Posted 2021-03-25
Pros: Allow the browser interface to process documents. When working through a browser, the document is automatically saved. Microsoft Office 365 is a widely used main office productivity suite. OneDrive provides documents saved from Office desktop applications such as Word and Excel. You can also create documents from the mobile app.
Cons: I have performance issues when working with documents from mobile apps. However, I rarely deal with Office documents on my phone, so this is not the main problem. Saving documents directly to OneDrive from the Office 365 desktop app can sometimes be difficult. I ran into an issue where the local copy was not syncing with OneDrive. To store access and organize files or information, allow access and share/collaborate files with others. Lacks the ability to display certain documents (such as .dwg files, etc.). This is an excellent mobile application that needs to upload or access stored files anytime, anywhere. Well suited for recording inspections and digital reporting.
Overall: OneDrive is used as an enterprise storage solution across the organization. Some departments use other solutions, such as Dropbox. However, OneDrive applies to all employees. Provide secure cloud storage for employee documents, which can be accessed from multiple devices, such as desktops, mobile devices and tablets at any time. It also facilitates document sharing within the company and with external personnel.

"OneDrive operates with all the features of a good file sharing software" Posted 2021-03-22
Pros: From the version without payment costs OneDrive shows a much higher storage capacity than that offered by similar file sharing services. Comparing it with one of these (Dropbox, specifically) the first thing you notice is that the platform created by Microsoft has more than three times the memory to store data.
Cons: When it comes to advanced plans, Microsoft OneDrive shows one of the highest capacities in relation to how economical its price is. It is because of this that there are no negative points to state about Microsoft OneDrive, which is beneficial in any way. We highly recommend it to fulfill backups creation.
Overall: Being able to store in the cloud the screenshots we take in our research directly, it is concluded that Microsoft OneDrive is a hosting and backup software of high caliber, recommended for those who do not want to pay a lot of money and get acceptable results of saving speed and security.

Pros: Microsoft OneDrive has provided us with the security we are looking for when storing important files or documents because they will always be safe since they are implemented in the cloud. The information can be accessed at any time as long as we have an internet connection.
Cons: The Microsoft OneDrive application has not presented any kind of problem or inconvenience when saving or sharing content. We are completely satisfied with its purchase and the use that the software can provide us with. We are completely happy with our experience using the platform.
Overall: With OneDrive we can exchange files and documents across the workgroup, it is practical to make revisions and edits to work without anything being changed or corrupted. The best thing about the application is that it allows us to keep track of the files as it allows us to see at all times with whom they are being shared and who is handling them.
